McDonald’s CampaignS
Over the years, WE ARE KIX has worked on a series of creative campaigns for multiple McDonald’s projects including “The Magic Cup”, “Seleb Hantar Meals” and “Bike Surprise”.
Netflix: Avatar: The Last Airbender Series Launch
Working closely with Netflix and GOODSTUPH, WE ARE KIX produced and filmed this event celebrating the release of Netflix's live adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. By the series launch on February 22, 2024, the video had garnered more than 4.7 million views, making it Netflix Malaysia's most viewed video to date!
Hong Leong: Can You Walk On Water?
KIX created an original event and video concept for MACH by Hong Leong Bank’s young audience. Since its launch, the video has been viewed over 68 million times on YouTube alone. The team filled a pool with 8,000 liters of “oobleck” and over 500 people ran, jumped, flipped and cycled on top of the substance.
BlackRock: iShares Investment Series
Looking to build on their successful 2023 campaign, BlackRock reached out to WE ARE KIX once again to continue the succesful collaboration. KIX rose to the occasion, combining intricate set builds with CGI to create a stunning series of videos aimed at deepening viewers’ financial literacy.
YES 5G: The Wave
YES 5G asked WE ARE KIX to highlight their coverage and speed as Malaysia’s fastest 5G network. Collaborating with Brand New Waves Running Club, KIX flooded the streets with neon waves of speed! The result was four highly attended running events, plus a campaign film and engaging content for YES 5G’s social media platforms.
AirAsia: Adventure Live Campaign
KIX created a first-of-its-kind LIVE travel gameshow for AirAsia. The audience watched as the host and team explored the streets of a city experiencing local food, music and culture. Throughout the journey, the audience voted where the team goes and what we do, COMPLETELY LIVE!
Hong Leong: The Teleport Cafe
KIX conceptualised and produced a virtual reality café event and campaign video for MACH by Hong Leong Bank's travel credit card.
Tourism Malaysia: Malaysia in the Moment
KIX's take on tourism completely immerses you in the unique scenes of Malaysia in POV.
VICE: Get Real: Hidden Emotions in Asia
An intimate and stylised meeting with Malaysian singer Zee Avi to discuss how the emotions of young Asians are suppressed and forgotten.
Yo! MTV Raps TV Series
Featuring over 30 hip-hop artists from 11 countries, “Yo! MTV Raps” is an entire series celebrating the best of today’s Asian hip-hop scene! The five-episode series was directed, produced, and co-written by KIX.
FOX: The Walking Dead VR Experience
For Season 7 of The Walking Dead, KIX teamed up with FOX Asia to deliver a VR experience in the back of active GRAB and UBER rides. People would order a car through the app as usual, and if one arrived with a "Riding Dead" sticker on the side, they would be able to experience the two-minute Walking Dead VR experience on the spot.
Lalu: Short Film
KIX’s first short film experiment, Lalu is a hyper-stylised Malaysian short thriller directed by Ion Furjanic. The word “lalu” is used to refer to the passing of time or to pass through something.
YooDo: "Sketchup" TVC Campaign
KIX created two unique Sketch Up-styled TVCs for Yoodo’s online marketing push.
YouTube City Stories: Hong Kong
